Big Kids

Caleb's first experiment with a sippy cup- you thought it was pretty fun and did great the first time... now, no interest whatsoever.  Oh, well... there will be plenty of time!

Hannah, you are becoming more and more interested in what "grown-ups" do... you know you'll do lots of things when you get "bigger and bigger".  Here, you're helping Daddy replace a light bulb.  You find many uses for your little stool!

Funny Puppies

As you can see, we have some silly dogs... Gokey (Smokey) and Molly.  Smokey loves the pool- if we leave it out, he will make himself at home both with and without water.  Ms. Molly has decided Hannah's Dora chair is a perfect fit for her!  Smokey squeezes himself in at times, too.  Luckily, Hannah hasn't seemed to notice yet, or I'm sure they would find themselves thrown out on their heads!

backyard pool time

Caleb still loves to splash...
Sissy, after going down the slide on her back!
Girlfriend, you are fearless!
Of course, Caleb decided that the grass was waaaay more interesting than the water; Hannah Grace was very bothered by this and wanted to put him back in his pool.  Big sis- you are great at keeping Bubba in line!

Horrible Blogger...

Well, as the title implies, I have not been very good at keeping up lately.... here are a few things we've been doing the past few weeks: trip to No. Little Rock just to spend a few days visiting... trip to Branson with MeMaw and PePaw... Mom had a loooooong workshop... Caleb has had the stomach bug!  As you can see, time flies when you're having fun (especially the last part)!  Caleb did debut a new skill this evening... Nana stayed home with him tonight since Mom and Dad had duties at church, and when she went into his room he was standing (wobbily) in his crib!  Yea, sweet boy!

Memory Verse, Hannah Version

Well, we've begun working on some Bible verses... I thought we'd better start w/ Eph. 6:1... "Children, obey your parents, for this is right".  Hannah can say the whole thing, but then she decided that it should go like this: "Children, obey your parents.... good job!"  She does the last part along with a funny arm hook thing... kind of like what a pirate would do with the whole "aaaaaargh, matey" thing.  I told James this must be a new translation we haven't heard of!

Also, while we're at it, Caleb is really close to crawling- doing everything but!  He's great at going backwards by pushing with his arms locked... I'm in no rush. :)

Awwww...

Mrs. Amy captured this moment at the S'dale Aquatic Center a few weeks ago... I'm so thankful she did!

funny Hannah moments...

I was working on cooking dinner one evening, and I looked outside the back window... Hannah was figuring out how to climb up into Caleb's baby swing.  I sent Dad out to capture the moment!
What she looked like one morning when I went in to check on her... why sleep on a comfy bed when you can do this?
Hannah participated (using the term loosely) in her first Bible school closing program last Friday.  During one of the songs, she spotted Caleb.  She began bending over and saying "Hi Caleb... Caaaaaleb", etc.  What a great big sis!
